Bang Olufsen is a Danish company that manufactures televisions and other luxury appliances, featuring high quality and reliability. But even it can fail for a number of reasons: improper operation, mechanical damage, physical wear and tear.
The most common faults are:
- Power Supply. This is one of the main components, providing electricity to the TV. There are several degrees of its protection, but they can not always protect this element (for example, from lightning or a sharp surge in line voltage). The main symptoms of this breakdown are: the TV does not turn on, turns off after some time after starting work, the image may disappear if there is sound.
- Inverter. This unit is responsible for converting low voltage to high, causing the screen to glow. The fault occurs when you turn on the TV sound is, but the picture is missing. If you light a flashlight on the display, you can see moving shadows.
Main board. This is a board that is responsible for the performance of all parts, systems, units. If it requires repair, it can manifest itself in different ways: the occurrence of interference, the inoperative condition of the ports, the power supply, and other disruptions in operation. - T-con. This element is responsible for converting signals from the motherboard to the display. About its failure indicates the appearance of bands, points, noise.
- Screen. The most expensive part of the Bang Olufsen TV, under the repair of which they understand its complete replacement. Breakage can occur due to mechanical damage, liquid flooding or malfunction of any components of the screen unit. Symptoms are vertical or horizontal stripes of purple or other color, loss of color, split or other distortion of the image.
