How to set up a LeEco TV. LeEco TV instruction

The LeEco TV instruction consists of the following sections: Getting Started, Safety Warning, Assembly Instructions, Connecting Le Eco TV, Pairing the Remote Control, Remote Control Functions, Picture Menu, Sound Menu, Interface and eui Applications, Android TV, Eui User Interface Implementation Ecosystems, Troubleshooting, Specifications.

The purpose of the LeEco X43Pro connectors :

HDMI: connect external components (such as Blu-ray or game consoles) to a TV using HDMI.
ARC: HDMI1 (Audio Return Channel) interface with sending a digital signal to a compatible audio playback device without the need to connect an additional optical audio signal.
MHL: HDMI2 use the MHL option for mobile phones and cameras.
A / V (Composite): Connect to an older generation device, such as a VCR, gaming console, or DVD player, using a composite cable.
Optical: Digital Optical Audio – Connect to external audio devices using an optical audio cable.
Ant in: Antenna – Connect to the antenna by plugging a coaxial cable into the ant in the connector.
Lan: Internet connection – connect the TV to the Internet using a wired (LAN) connection.
USB 3.0: Connect external USB recording / playback devices.
Audio out: Digital coaxial audio output.

In the models LeEco X55 and X65 additionally present:

USB: an additional connector for connecting external USB 2.0 devices.
HDMI3: The third high-speed HDMI interface connector
PC Input Audio: PC audio input.
PC Input VGA: Use your TV as a monitor by connecting a computer with a VGA cable.

Switching On and off:

  1. Connect the TV to a power outlet.
  2. Turn the switch behind the TV to ON.
  3. To turn on the LeEco TV, press the power button on the remote control, wait about five seconds for the TV to turn on completely. The light in the center of the bottom of the TV indicates the power status: Blue – the TV is on, Red is the TV is off
  4. To enter the power saving mode, press and hold the power button for two seconds. Note: Android TV will reboot, which may take about 40 seconds.

LeEco TV remote control

The remote control for the LeEco TV needs to be configured before use: to pair with a specific copy of the TV.

To do this, slide the battery cover off the remote control and find the pairing button. Next, insert 2 AA batteries, press and hold the button until the connection is confirmed on the screen. It should be borne in mind that to connect the remote control must be located at a distance of at least 20 cm from the bottom of the TV.

LeEco TV Remote control

On the LeEco remote control there are the following control buttons:

  1. Turning the TV on and off
  2. Instant sound mute / enable
  3. Selection of the input connection of an external source and its display on the screen
  4. Display and selection of setup menu
  5. Channel selection by its number
  6. Access to Netflix – a collection of video films and TV shows
  7. Increase or decrease sound volume
  8. Activate voice command mode
  9. Switch TV channels up or down
  10. Navigation keys Up, Down, Left, Right, Select / Enter
  11. Return to the previous menu screen.
  12. Display Application Menu
  13. Display home tv page
  14. Access to LeEco

Configure the antenna to access the broadcast channels.

Connect the coaxial cable to the ANT IN connector.

Navigate to the inputs from the main screen and select cable / antenna. Note: if your TV has not been programmed to search for channels using an antenna, then select the tuner from the channel sources.

In tuner mode, select the Air option.

Follow the scanning instructions until the broadcast channels appear on the screen.

Connect to the antenna by plugging the coaxial cable into the ant in the connector.

Tuning channels on a LeEco TV

Tuning the antenna for access to broadcast channels is as follows:

  • Configure the antenna to access the broadcast channels.
  • Connect the coaxial cable to the ANT IN connector.
  • Go to the input source selection from the main screen and select Cable / Antenna. If you do not have your TV programmed to search for channels using an antenna, select the tuner from the channel sources.
  • In tuner mode, select the Air option.
  • Follow the scanning instructions until the broadcast channels appear on the screen.
  • To access the channel programming guide, press the menu key on the remote control and select the program guide.
  • Use advanced menu options to access other functions, including Subtitle, Input Sources, Display Modes, Multi-Audio, Video Description, Channel Setup and Parental Control.

Image Adjustment

By default, the TV is set to power saving mode. To configure, press the settings button on the remote control and select: Image> Display Mode

Additional display options, such as brightness, color and clarity, can be found by going from the main screen: Settings> image> mode settings

Setting sound parameters LeEco

Sound settings, such as custom game presets, can be found by going from the main screen: Settings> Sound

Android TV on LeEco TV

Language selection: after switching on the device, you will be asked to select your preferred menu and control language.

Sync external device (optional): Transfer Google EcoPass account data from an external device.

Wi-Fi setup: here you will be prompted to select a network connection and enter a Wi-Fi password. (This step will be skipped if an ethernet cable is connected to the TV)

Sign in with Google (optional): Signing in with Google lets you instantly synchronize your account settings and information to enhance your experience.

Read the terms: read and accept the terms and conditions of privacy.

Geolocation Services: specify your preferences for third-party applications that request your location.

Feedback Reports: Specify whether to create and send automatic reports on any technical issues.

Channel sources: select Input Settings.

Google Voice Search on LeEco TV

Search through thousands of movies and shows with a click of a button – just go to the Google Voice Search icon in the upper left of the main screen. You can also use the quick access button to the microphone on the remote control. Just press the button and say the command. For example, you can say your favorite actor’s name or “show me action” for a smart list of related entertainment. It’s never been easier to find what you want to see!

Google Cast on LeEco TV

Google Cast is a technology for wirelessly connecting to a mobile TV, which is used as a high-quality monitor.

This technology allows you to instantly switch from phone to TV using the integrated Google Cast. To get started, download any application that supports Google Cast on your phone. Synchronize your TV and phone with the same wireless network and press the Cast button on your phone. Now select the TV from the list. The program will run on your TV.
